Sounded like there was a little TOO much caffeine

...involved in making this. It just sounded a little choppy here and there.

Don't worry though, just creative criticism. You got a 4/5 outta me. Are you planning on expanding this? I'm pretty interested in hearing what it would sound like if only it were longer...

mgear responds:

Thats what five shotgunned Red Bulls will do to you :).
Sure if you guys what I will expand it.

Very nice

I loved the old school sounding beat that kicked in around 9 seconds and kept making appearances. VERY head-nod worthy. What software did you use for this?

5/5 10/10

aocrkid responds:

FL studio

Downsized mp3?

So I'm assuming that means you lost some quality? That was my only complaint... I wasn't too big of a fan of the guitar effect, either... a little too "staticy" for my tastes.

Other than that it was completely perfect. Did you use an effect on the vocals? I liked how they sounded. You're a very talented songwriter and I look forward to hearing your future submissions!

aocrkid responds:

[edit] upsized mp3! thanx for the support! and i will be cranking out new songs as much as i can. i did use a slight chorus on the vox...i think i could have done a little better on it, but some other factors came into play and i just finished early.

Nice abstract piece

Took me back to the days of Resident Evil and various monster movies. Just very moody, eerie, and dissonant. I enjoyed it :)

VegetarianMeat responds:

Thank you.

Moody

Did I hear some influences from the Moonlight Sonata in the piano line?

I dug it... it's a nice "chill" piece and a great composition. Great work!

Pretty nice

For some reason, it took me back to the days of encountering Jenova on Final Fantasy 7, or one of the many sorceresses on Final Fantasy 8. If you decide to expand upon this, I could see it sounding really good with some industrial influences. Awesome :)

BowserThedestructive responds:

Very good idea :) i was just making it into the normal loop i could start making it into a fuller longer song.. but not sure what kind of beat i could add into it or just the normal repeat loop power mix.. ah well ima work on it to make it kind of (better) thanks for the suggestion :P

I liked it

It was kind of a funky, jungle-esque beat. Overall, I enjoyed it.

It's called "Many Drums," however, the bass was overpowering everything. Consider toning that down a bit? I had to turn my bass down to 2 to get all the elements of the song. Just my opinion...

Short but good...

I only gave it a 9 'cause it's so short.

I could see it being in some sort of old-school RPG... it's pretty good. You should expand upon it! :)

Mighty-Buffoon responds:

Yeah... I tried expanding upon it when I first wrote it. I actually tried making another section of it (which would have expanded it to about a minute or so). However, my knowledge of musical theory was quite limited at the time, and it didn't end up sounding as good. So, I cut it short.

But, I'm planning on writing more to it eventually.

Eerie

Would make an awesome intro track or a buildup to another track. I like it!

Has potential...

...to be an awesome song. You'll have to expand on this for sure. I dug it.

IrishDrunkPunK responds:

thanks man, i really just felt like putting somethin else up, so I threw together what I could of the beat. and its the same bassline as "Hellll Yeah" but I like it. Pretty soon I'm makin it a whole song. I appreciate the comment and the good word dude. Keep checkin for sum ill new shit.
