Hmm

Jazzy, in a groovy sorta way. Pretty good for effortless audio. Bravo ^.^

Great job

It's always refreshing to hear a good Mega Man mix. Great transitions between the two songs. I'm not a big fan of computer / programmed guitars, so that was just a tad bit distracting, but overall, this was a very, very nice mix. Keep it up.

Beartheshadows responds:

Thanks. I wish I could have made the guitar a live recording, but I don't have the equipment to do so... and make it sound good.

Good

Good use of the slap line over the strings / chords. Only thing I could think of that bothered me was the (choir) chords sounded a little MIDI-ish at times, but good work overall. 5/5

Also, I don't normally advertise, but if you're into slapbass lines, check this out if you'd like.

Beartheshadows responds:

I definitly hear what your talking about. I think it was just the wide range of notes I had to use in the song. I will definitly check out your stuff. Thanks for the reveiw.

It seemed alright

Though some of it seemed kind of rushed and almost started to run together. Don't get me wrong -- overall it was a nice remix, it just seemed to be lacking that "something."

Good work, though :) 8/10 4/5

DJ-Martcore responds:

yeh i know.... It's just a lil song xD
but thanx for the review!

Pretty cool

Not sure what you added and what was original (I don't use FL Studio too often), but it was pretty nice. Good for about a minute and a half of head-nodding.

cartoon781 responds:

well i slowed the tempo and the piano also when the beat drops and says "im just scratching the surface" and again when it says "thats right" but thanks

Great

I'm a big fan of slow, moody, almost "celtic" style of music, and I loved this. You did excellent work composing it and paying meticulous detail to every little thing. One of my new faves. 5/5

ErikMcClure responds:

Thanks!

Sounded pretty nice

The only thing that kept me from giving you a 5 was a bit of lack of "excitement." Some walking fills would help it tremendously IMO, but overall, it was a pretty nice song, I would just consider re-working it and adding just a tad bit more "spice" to it. I did like your use of the (string?) chords. I know how aggrivating it can be at times making a strictly piano solo song.

Good work.

FatalMessiah responds:

Walking fills?

I'm relatively new to the whole music scene anyways. So I'm not really sure exactly what you mean. :P

I lol'd

Craziness. The sad part is, you pulled it off and it's pretty damn good. Sounded very well put together -- Good work. 5/5

PS: FL Studio?

DJ-Martcore responds:

heheh yeh fl..
and Thanx for the comment

Sounds "Rapcore"

...in a good way. Like something Linkin Park tried so hard to do, yet failed time and again. I could see your stuff being on an album, or maybe in a movie some day...

Really impressive. Keep it up -- I loved it!

5/5

Well done

Very nicely put together. What program did you use for this?

My only complaint is that it coulda been longer. Right when you took the tempo up and it started to get a bit more interesting it was over... but overall I liked it. Nice drum work :)

MarioKartFrantic responds:

It was done with Apple's Garageband

And theo nly reason it's not longer is simply because I froze the Mac i was using lol...
there was so much near the end that it began overheating and simply "crapped out" before I had a chance to make it longer. but thanks for the comment none the less.
